Pastor Chris Dyer

“It is both a privilege and a joy to serve the Lord at Fellowship Bible Church.  My wife, Teresa, and I began attending Fellowship in 1997 and have come to love the people here.  I joined the staff of FBC as the Assistant Pastor in January of 2002 and am honored to minister the Word of God to this assembly.

I was born in Bangor, Maine and was raised in Billerica, Massachusetts.  I came to know Jesus Christ as my personal savior during my freshman year of high school through an amazing set of circumstances that involved faithful people from Fellowship Bible Church.  Shortly after placing my faith in the Christ, I recognized the call of God on my life to actively teach His Word.  After my high school graduation from Open Bible Academy, I completed my freshman year at Burlington Bible Institute.  From there I transferred to Appalachian Bible College and graduated in 1989 with a degree in Bible/Pastoral Studies.

In September, 1989, I married Teresa.  The following year, the Lord moved us back up to New England to serve as the Assistant Pastor at Calvary Bible Church in Westport, MA.   In 1995, the Lord moved us again, this time closer to home.  I was hired by Sanderson Piano Services in 1995 and worked there until January of 2002 when God moved in our hearts to serve here at Fellowship.  Our prayer is that we remain ‘steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord’.”
