Want to serve the Lord by becoming active in a ministry? Fellowship Bible Church has many opportunities to serve where you can use the gifts that God has given you. See the list below for specific ministries at FBC.
AUDIO VISUAL
The audio visual ministry enables other ministries to function. It manages the audio and presentations for the sermons, choir, praise and worship group, and special events.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
In Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me..." Just as Jesus spoke about the importance of children, FBC believes in the importance of teaching children the Word of God. Kinder Church (ages 3-5) and Junior Church (1st-6th grade) provide children with biblical teaching and activities. Everyone involved in these ministries is first screened to ensure the children learn in a safe, loving environment.
CHRISTIAN GROWTH CLASSES
Similar to Sunday School, it is a time to meet and grow in our walk with God in a friendly small classroom environment. These classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am.
CLEANING
Every week a quarterly rotating small group of volunteers lead by a deacon help vacuum the carpets and wash the windows in the Church.
COLLEGE & CAREER
A group of young adults get to together once a week to praise God, have fun, and fellowship.
ENCOURAGMENT
When times are tough for a family, a meal can be just what is needed to help show that God cares. The meal ministry is all about making meals when someone needs it most.
GREETING
A first impression can make a difference. The greeters play a key role in welcoming everyone to Fellowship Bible Church whether they are a regular attendee or a first time guest.
GROUNDS KEEPING
Keeping the grounds maintained and presentable requires volunteer assistance. Mowing is the main weekly activity. FBC uses both a small mower for around the church building and a large riding mower for the fields out back.
HOSPITALITY
Have you wondered where missionaries stay when they come to visit? They may in fact be staying in your home. Opening up your home and hosting a guest is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow missionary serving the Lord.
KITCHEN
Part of the mission at FBC is to encourage the body of Christ and to build relationships with one another. With a variety of activities and functions keeping our church active, food is a central part of fellowship and community.
MEN'S MINISTRIES
The men's ministries consist of the Men's Bible Study, the Men's Sports Night, and the Men's Fellowship Dinner. The Men's Bible Study is conducted every other week at 7am on Saturday. The Men's Sports Night is also performed every other week, but at 7:30pm on Tuesday. The Men's Fellowship Dinner runs twice a year where a large group of men enjoy a nice meal with a special guest speaker.
MUSIC
Psalm 100:1 says, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands." The choir, praise and worship group, and instrumentalists are just a few groups involved in this ministry. Everyone involved presents music that edifies and ministers to the congregation and most of all glorifies the Lord.
NURSERY
Psalm 127:3 says "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord; The fruit of the womb is a reward." As a church, we praise the Lord for the little ones that He provides our families with. In nurseries 1 and 2, our desire is to encourage and support parents of infants and toddlers. The nursery provides a place for parents to confidently leave their precious children in the care of screened volunteers while they participate in the worship services.
OUTREACH
FBC values evangelism and gospel outreach in our communities. Every month we put a concerted effort on encouraging people whose last names start with specific letters to share the Gospel and invite others to church.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Everyone enjoys looking at past events and the memories that were made. This ministry consists of taking photos, curating, editing and archiving so that the whole congregation can share in church event memories.
SENIOR SAINTS
Through this ministry, the seniors enjoy some of the most fun and eventful trips, and occasionally enjoy meals together.
SMALL GROUPS
From the Fall to Spring, small groups meet in families' homes every other week to study the Word of God in a relaxed and friendly environment.
TECHNOLOGY
The technology ministry maintains the networks and computer systems that the church and the school use.
USHERS
The ushers help people find their seats, and pass the offering plate during the main service.
WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
The women's ministry commits to nurturing and encouraging women in their walk with God. It offers great opportunities to fellowship with other women of all ages. Two main events are put on during the year where the ladies enjoy food, fellowship, and encouragement. Truth for Tots and More for Moms is a Bible study that runs every other week from Fall to Spring and allows mothers to have fellowship and time in the Word while the children also participate in Bible lessons.
YOUTH GROUP
Once a week, a group of middle school students and another group of high school students meet to study the Bible on practical and pertinent day to day life issues.
